The Division is about to compensate players affected by bugs

Were you one of the Xbox One players who had their Division character deleted after the recent 1.1 patch? Or one that fell victim to the backpack glitch, where upon crafting a high-end backpack you were locked out of your account? Well good news, Ubisoft is about to send some in-game compensation your way in the form of 500 Phoenix Credits and 10 of each high-end crafting items.

Sadly they can’t compensate you for all that time you spent hunting for the perfect, purple parka for your character…

On their recent “State of the Game” Twitch live stream, covered by VG24/7, Ubisoft confirmed the news, saying the compensation packages will be handed out within the next two weeks.

On top of that, there will be more goodies handed out to make up for the daily challenges not updating this past weekend (April 16-18). 150 Phoenix Credits will be applied to the accounts of everyone who logs on to The Division this weekend.

If you’re like me, you were probably too busy on the weekend to even notice the daily challenges hadn’t updated but I’ll certainly be hopping on to get me them sweet Phoenix Credits. Although, my fellow editor Charlie better tread with caution, as his recent activities of exploiting The Division might put him in a spot of bother, since Ubisoft has stated it is looking into “what can be done in terms of punishment” for those who have previously done so.

They haven’t been open about what kind of punishment is on the cards here, but if/when Charlie is punished, we’ll be sure to let you know. Hopefully I’ll have some warning so I can capture the look on his face.
