HTC Vive price announced

The price of the HTC Vive has been announced and comes in at a staggering US$799 (AU$1115), which is close to US$200 more than the Oculus Rift.

However the Valve collaborated virtual reality headset will come in a bundle featuring two touch controllers, sensor towers and two games.

The games included are Job Simulator, a game where you play as a robot learning about work:

And Fantastic Contraption, a game about building things:

Preorders for the HTC Vive bundle will commence next Monday the 29th of February from 10am eastern time, which will be 2am Tuesday the 1st of March in Australia. It’s also important to note at this stage that shipping costs to Australia haven’t been announced.
