Updated to include new release date.
The multiplayer mode for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available for all PS4 owners to download and play from Saturday March 5 at 04:00 AM AEDT until Monday March 7 at 06:59 PM AEDT.
I played a lot of the exclusive beta for The Nathan Drake Collection owners back in December, and I can certainly tell you the Uncharted 4 multiplayer is worth your time, and that’s coming from someone who hasn’t played the main trilogy (forgive me PlayStation fanboys). You can read my impressions here, and below you’ll find footage of me not doing too terribly:
According to PlayStation, the purpose of this open weekend is to get as many people playing the Uncharted 4 multiplayer as possible to test matchmaking and networking. The upcoming beta will be the same version as the December beta, but with the addition of one new map titled Rooftops. As an extra bonus PlayStation have announced you won’t need to be a PSN member to play this online only mode.
Those eager to play can preload the beta onto their PS4 right now. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled for release on May 10 2016.
