It was a sad day across Albion when Microsoft announced Lionhead Studios was most likely going to close down. The announcement that sounded the death knell for the beloved creators of Fable and Black & White also spelled out the demise of Fable Legends, a game that had been in production since 2012.
Well maybe all is not lost for the team at Lionhead Studios, because Sony are swooping in to scoop up the survivors.
2/2 …there’ll be people there from all our SCEE studios and if you’d like to a book a time for a chat on the day, please DM for details

The potentially out of work devs will be able to meet with Sony’s SCEE studios, which include the likes of Guerrilla Games, Media Molecule, Evolution Studios, Sucker Punch Productions and many more.
This news unfortunately doesn’t provide solace for Fable fans by providing a future for the franchise, but we can still hold out that someday the game series will receive a new home.
