Signed 20th Anniversary PS4 to be auctioned for charity

If you were lucky enough to score one the 12,300 20th Anniversary Playstation 4’s when they released a year or so ago, congratulations on being the envy of every classic Playstation fan. Now stop rubbing it in our faces.

All hope is not lost for the rest of us though, because Sony is holding an auction for one of the PS1 inspired systems to raise money for their charity You Can, which funds specialised youth cancer centres around Australia.

What’s more, this particular PS4 is one of two in the world, as it has been signed by four of the top people from Naughty Dog, developers of the Uncharted series, The Last of Us and Crash Bandicoot. Specifically, the signatures are from creative director Neil Druckmann, game director Bruce Straley and co-presidents Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells.

Although Evan, mate, you’ve got to put more effort into your signature.

Bids open on eBay at 2pm today and close at 2pm on March 23 at Sony’s River4Ward event in Melbourne, Victoria.

So, if you’ve got a generous disposition and sorely lack a 20th Anniversary PS4, now’s your chance to change that. Just don’t rub it in my face when you win it.

Seriously, I can’t take it any more…
