Aside from their recent Walking Dead: Michonne miniseries, all’s been quiet on the Telltale Games front. That is, until today when Telltale’s head of creative communications Job J Stauffer posted on Twitter that their upcoming Batman series will be premiering in the US summer (Australian winter), along with the much anticipated third season of The Walking Dead arriving sometime in the fall (our spring).

Batman could still be some months away given we’re only one week into winter, but Telltale like to announce their release dates within a week or two of them arriving. The mention of E3 2016 at the end of the tweet could also indicate we shall find out exact dates during the expo next week, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
I have high hopes for this game, as I wrote when it was first announced that Telltale have previously with the The Wolf Among Us presented an excellent detective story forcing us to question our morals, and taking a similar approach to the World’s Greatest Detective could make for an amazing experience.
As for The Walking Dead Season Three, that could be arriving any time between September and November. Not much is known about the third season, but Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman recently hinted that a significant time jump has occurred between seasons and perhaps previous protagonist Clementine won’t be a focus character.
