Overwatch is celebrating Halloween with new loot and a brawl

I’m just going to come out and say it: I love pimping out my Overwatch characters in different skins. Not enough to spend money on the microtransactions just for the chance to get what I want, but I was certainly overjoyed when I unlocked Reinhardt’s badass “Blackhardt” armour. Now I look like a boss that was rejected from Dark Souls III for being too goddamn terrifying.

“Git gud…”

Anyhow, Overwatch just dropped its Halloween update, which means along with a new brawl to play there are 12 new skins for me to desperately want. OK, maybe not all 12, but goddamn I want the Pumpkin King Reaper outfit…

The brawl is titled “Junkenstein’s Revenge” and it’s Overwatch’s first PvE co-op event. According to Blizzard’s official description of the brawl, Dr. Junkenstein, Junkrat’s Halloween personality, was a mad scientist who is seeking revenge against the Lord of Adlersbrunn for their mockery of his creations, and he’s sending waves of zombies, a witch, Reaper and Junkenstein’s Monster (Roadhog reskinned) to attack their castle. Players will be able to choose between four characters, the Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), and the Soldier (Soldier: 76), and must defend the castle against everything Junkenstein throws at them.

Here’s the trailer for the event:

And here’s what you’ve all really been waiting for: the full gallery of characters, originally uncovered by Overpwn.com.

Quoth the Raven: “Eat my wall of bullets!”

You see Hanzo, this is what happens when you let the Dragon consume you.

“Awww yea, it’s aloive, eh?!”

“Heroes never die, except when I curse them…”

Justice is dead. Or blind. Or both?

Next thing you know, Reaper will be going after Christmas…

Reinhardt’s a ghost now? Or Mr Freeze? I dunno anymore…

“I’ve got you in my sights, because they’re no longer impeded by that damn visor.”

Obligatory “sexy-X” costume.

“I look pretty much the same, don’t question it.”

Not even Ana’s sleep darts will let me sleep after seeing this…

The Halloween update runs until November 1, so get those skins while you can! Just don’t spend money on the loot boxes, we can’t encourage that rubbish.
