After a long teaser campaign on Twitch, Bethesda have announced a new Fallout game entitled Fallout 76.
According to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who cites anonymous sources, Fallout 76 will take the form of an online survival game in the same vein as Rust or DayZ. But we’ll have to wait for Bethesda’s E3 showcase on June 11 for this information to be confirmed.
However we do know from hints in the trailer and lore in Fallout 3 that the game’s titular Vault 76 opens 20 years after the nukes go off, so we can expect a much rougher setting and maybe different landscapes/enemies than we’re used to from previous Fallout games.
Oh, and enjoy having Country Roads stuck in your head all day. Today must be a good day for John Denver’s Spotify page.
